The Name Says It All
Make your portrait that extra bit special by having it display a name, date, or memorable phrase that will
bring it closer to your heart. Your chosen text can be of anything you want, and I will do my best to make
it in a style and colour to fit in well with your chosen background, and to match the character of the sitter -
here are some examples of different fonts:

In this example I used colour from the background but in a light and mid shade. I chose a font that was
relaxed and jaunty, just like a country walk that Sam would go on, and made it slightly furry like his coat.

In this example I used the colours from the Peach Twinkle Background, and chose a soft, feminine font
for Leah, the lady with lots of soft golden curls all over.

In this example I used the colours from the Ring of Roses Fuschia Ruby Background, and chose a font
that matched the lovely scripted handwriting that Maisie uses to write her letters.

For Jamie The Wanderer - One day the front gate was left open allowing Jamie to wander off into the
streets. Luckily a neighbour picked him up in her arms, saying he was hers, just as two strangers were
about to lift him up into the boot of their car! His mum wrote a poem about it and called it The Wanderer.
For the Wanderer text I chose a golden curly font to match the elaborate rococco frame and Jamie's
mischievous nature. The name Jamie was filled with a beautiful opal gemstone, the same colours purple,
blue, and turquiose were also used for the three crystal paws in the frame corners.

Ruffers died very suddenly and unexpectedly, leaving his distraught owner with only one photo that showed
his happy nature. One of the highlights of their days together was the giving of the Bonio biscuit treat -
Ruffers loved them! Every Bonio biscuit has the word "BONIO" pressed into the centre, so I removed it and
replaced it with Ruffers' name instead, trying to make it look like it was specially made for him.
For the phrase "I'll 'ave that Bonio!" the owner had already decided that he wanted the same font used in
the credits of the Pink Panther movies. I made it gold to match the golden Bonio picture frame.

Text styles are made by using different fonts, each font having its own personality.
The font used can enhance your portrait by adding to the mood or feel of the picture.
